An Assist for My Birthday

After being sleepless, I only got the chance to have a peek of Chris Pacana's game last night. And I am glad that I got the chance to see his nicely crafted assist (for my birthday). Although he didn't play much, it was already a gift for me. It was better than exactly a year ago, I celebrated my birthday with No CP#22 on November 22 (anyway, my birthday is November 23). And still, I would like to re-post My Wish:

My Wish
As a fan, I had this wonderful wish, that Chris Pacana be hailed as the game's Best Player of the Game that night, that he may have double-double figures, 22 big points, 10 big rebounds, 5 steals, 3 assists, and 1 block shot. There, that'll be great. And it would be greater if Kerby Raymundo will be the BPG of Game 1. And definitely, after the game, I won't let the moment to pass me by without having a picture with Chris, with me wearing a shirt with his jersey number on.
Hope I won't wait for another year? Anyhow, I won't be tired of waiting.

Congratulations Sta. Lucia Realtors (SLR) for winning the battle in Over Time (OT) against the Red Bull Barakos!

Trivia: In this season, there were only 2 games that have to be decided in OT. And in both games, SLR outplayed the opponents.

Did He Play Well?

I failed to watch the game between the Sta. Lucia Realtors (SLR) and Chris Pacana's former team Barangay Ginebra Kings (BGK) because of a family night out. In my previous post, I had anticipated that he will play well to show 'something' to BGK management. On second thought, I still think that he might not deliver well yet, since he had just recovered and had just got out from the hospital a few days ago.

I am glad that a friend sent me a message telling me her encounter with the Pacana's. It was really a great feeling everytime I learned how nice Chris and his family were. It simply makes me feel proud, being one of Chris' loyal fans.

Anyway, to those who were able to watch the game, 'Did He Play Well?'.

Statistically speaking, having 3 assists could already show that he really did well. Too bad for me, I failed to witness it live.

Congratulations to SLR for having defeated the most popular team of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA)! I can imagine the Araneta Coliseum shut in silence with this game. Probably Kelly Williams punctuated (or pressed the mute button) with a two-handed slam?

I Believe He's Already Well

I got no new news about Chris Pacana. But I just want to inform everyone following this blog, looking for updates, that I believe that he is already well. I had spotted him behind the Sta. Lucia Realtors (SLR) bench in their game against the Smart Gilas last Friday the 13th. But, I was unable to finish watching the game for I am tweaking something on MySQL at Ubuntu. Nevertheless, they won by a hairstrand, 96-95.

Hope to see him wearing his SLR jersey on their next game, tomorrow. It'll be his time to show off the Barangay Ginebra Kings (BGK), his former team, that they had lost a good defensive player. Remember what he had done against the Coca-Cola Tigers (CCT)? You'll surely do if I show you this picture:

Pictures From The Game Where He Did Great

I have been scarcely posting pictures here. And I really felt bad about it. Last time when I had the chance, I don't have a good quality camera with me. But now, I am really glad that someone with a good heart shared me his pictures.

These pictures were from the game where he did great. It was October 25, 2009 where Sta. Lucia Realtors (SLR) falls to the Talk N' Text Tropang Texters (TNT), 100-83. Nevertheless, I got smile on my face after watching the game, for he had a great game.
