Finally

Finally, after 5-game losing streak, the Barangay Ginebra Kings (BGK) breaks their silence with 103-111 victory against the Barako Bulls Energy Boosters (BBEB). Ronald Tubid emerged as the Best Player of the Game (BPG) with 29pts, 4rebs, and 7 out of 13 in the 3 point line.

Well, I believed that they would win this one for it is only the BBEB. But, with BBEB's reputation of a big comeback against Talk N' Text Tropang Texters (TNT), I feared that history may repeat itself. Luckily, BGK defied all odds and win the game. I have seen how the key players Rod Nealy and JayJay Helterbrand loses their energy to finish the game. As the momentum shifted to the BBEB as their import had a half-court shot beating the buzzer at the end of the 3rd Quarter.

Good that Tubid showed a never say die attitude as he saved the kings with his 3 point baskets. And I believe that BGK would really win this one. They are more equipped with all the urge to win since this is a PBA On Tour (Davao City) game. It is from the crowd that BGK gets their will to win.

But what makes this game so special for me, is the comeback of Chris Pacana. This is his 3rd game for this season. Last couple of games where he played, he just spent around 5minutes on court. And since he is too selfless, he would always pass the ball to whoever is capable of making a shot. But this time, with 14minutes of playing time, he showed a variety of his skills. He made a 3 point basket (which I failed to see, *sigh*), a long 2 pointer and a courageous drive to the basket in the 3rd quarter (which allowed me to make some noise while I was watching, *yipee*). I am so proud that he is part of BGK's victory in this game.
